Slicing with skeinforge causes slow movement
Slicing with skeinforge causes slow movement
If i slice an object with skeinforge and run the job, the initial movement to the build plate is incredibly slow. If i left it to its thing, instead of clicking e-stop, it probably would have taken 20 too 30 min to reach the build plate. Has anyone experienced this or know what is wrong? I'm printing on Max with marlin firmware.

Look at the gcode and see what it output for feedrates. Most likely you have the rapid speed set too low.

Thanks for the fast response. Your comment caused me to again go over all the settings. I had "limit" set to 1 somehow.
Would have responded sooner but i just got my internet services up and running again. Woot.

Glad to help. As Occam's razor states "the simplest answer is usually to correct one."
