Calibration cubes...

I started today off with my printer not printing anything, and I ended the day with 2 calibration cubes, 2 ipod touch cases, and a few dog tags for my kidos. I'm not dialed in yet, but my results are much better that what I was expecting for my first day with the printer working.
I would take any suggestions on the prints aside from the delta arm blues? I'm going back to check on the delta arm blues next.
Printed using Repetier Host for Mac and Slicer. Mostly default settings as per build instructions with the addition of 6mm of retraction length and 1mm of z retraction lift. Printing ABS on hairspray. Extruder temp 230 bed temp is 70.

I double checked my measurements, and my Y tower measurement was way off. I adjusted all 3 again, and I'm printing great. I will post a picture of something done shortly.

After the adjustment, I was getting much better layer consistency but it didn't fix my gapping issue. I thought it could be the delta arm blues. Yesterday, I took all of my arms off and worked them over paying attention not to over do any of them. I put them back on and gave it a test run. Same gapping issue, but the machine was running much more smoothly and quite.
Tonight I was working on getting my extruder calibrated, and while I was messing around with my slicer settings, I noticed that as I walked thru the layers of the gcode, I was showing the gaps that show up in the final print.. I adjusted my extruder width to .50mm vs .55mm as I had read in a post. I generated the gcode, and the gaps were gone. I'm doing the test print right now. I'm about 1/2 way through it, and it seems like it is doing a good job.
I'll post the outcome of these setting changes along with pictures

Here are the before and after the slicing changes. I'm pretty sure I don't have all of my other settings worked out yet, but at least I have most of the gapping issues resolved. My bridging issue is another story.

I dont think the delta arms solves this in every case. part of it is tweaking your software settings also

I agree. I didn't even think to look at the 3d model the gcode produced to see if it showed the gaps. Live and learn.

Where is that setting in the slicer config?
Or is this kisslicer?
