Hello,
Working through hot end mount and configuration build with the kids. Please zoom in to included picture on the hot end component. This is the closest we've gotten everything fitting well. We swapped the wood spacers to bottom rather than top and replaced alum spacers which were too thick of wall to fit.
Now that we got to this point, can you point me to document that provides more detail or respond with errors we've done? We can make this work, but concerned the geometry is off not having a perfect fit, which will cause other issues we will not be able to mitigate.
Take a look and let us know, thanks. -r
Multi-Hot End Configuration
Re: Multi-Hot End Configuration
you are one of the few that have ventured into multiple extruders, it hasn't been proven to actually work yet on the rostock.
I have yet to see anyone on this forum use it successfully, let us know how it works out. If more people started doing this we could get it up and running.
Maybe one day seemecnc will actually do this and tell us how. rather than selling parts that we can't use effectively use yet.
