Questions about seeme repetier firmware

Post by bplemmons »

I have 2 questions about John's new repetier firmware:

How do you change the speed on the lcd controller?

How do you save to the SD card? It says file name not 8.3 compatible....

The file name is a little bit special. I believe that you're limited to 9 characters (somebody correct me if i'm wrong) and it needs to be a .gco file extension instead of .gcode

You can load to the SD card via USB while connected to the Rambo with Repetier, or you can load a 9digit.gco directly to the card. Using your laptop's card reader is faster, but loading the card through Repetier is convenient depending on the size of the file.

Nt sure about the speed, but it is possible, I've seen it done :)

I suspect the filename is restricted to the DOS 8.3 format due to the filesystem on the SD card.
