Repetier-Firmware Using Repetier-Host Error question.

I installed Repetier Firmware instead of Marlin. I am using Repetier-Host and when I click print everything heats up but I get an error message in the log that says "Error: No EEPROM support compiled". Should I worry about this? If so how do I enable the EEPROM Support?

Thanks in Advance.

See this link to a MHackney post about using the eprom settings.
He talks about the eprom about half way down on the page. Hope this
helps....http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=1323

Thank you. It prints without the EEPROM support, So I guess it is optional.

Yes, it does print without eprom support. The way I understand it, the eprom, if's it is enabled allows you to change settings
on the fly. You would not have to change a setting then recompile all the time. In tandem with an LCD, I can see where the
Eprom could be very handy and a great time saver.

I managed to enable the EPROM support. It is a fantastic feature, able to make changes without the upload every time from Arduino. This Repetier Firmware in conjunction with Repetier Host is my new best friend.

Thank you for your help Eaglezsoar.

curious why your eeprom was disabled though, I thought the default for repetier firmware was eemprom enabled. which repetier firmware are you running. polygons or johns from seemecnc?

It was enabled but had a #1 instead of 2 which is what it is at the EEPROM.h file. So I changed the 0 to a 2 and it worked. I kept changing it to 1 and it wasn't working so I had to ask here. I think I have Poly's verion. The version ready for the 20 tooth pulleys, or it could be Seemecnc's. The one set up for 20 teeth and it was at 8 steps /rev had to change to 16.
