MatterHackers Filament Review

Post by oeginc »

Just curious if anyone has tried these guys before? It sounds pretty good on the surface, reasonable prices, and FREE SHIPPING within the United States which is always a bonus. They talk a good talk on their website, and they even have "PRO" filament available which I guess melts at a lower temperature. I think I saw on their website somewhere that they claim 0.05mm tolerances.

They're about an hour away from me. I think I'll check them out. I want to see an Airwolf anyway...

I bought a couple rolls of their pro series on a whim. I got it and it sat on the shelf for awhile. I took it down the other day to give it a shot. Sometime between storing it and using it I convinced myself it was abs. It prints fairly well at 230 degrees. Noticed this morning it had a sticker on it that says pla. Playing with it again now.
