Just about finished with this build.
Wood parts from Local laser cutter
Extrusion from 80/20
All other parts from SeeMeCNC
Can't wait to see how this compares to my Prusa Mendel.

If you don't mind my asking, what ballpark did the DIY kit of parts end up costing you? Seems like a good option for people on a budget.
Looks very nice, BTW. Good work!

@foshon - Cabo3d was correct, I did this build on the table of my CNC
@Jimustanguitar - I haven't totaled the cost yet, but I doubt it was much cheaper in the long run. My issue was that I never had the total amount available to buy a complete kit. As money came available, I bought a part.
I'll total my costs to see if there was any significant savings.

Nearly completed an inventory of the parts I purchased to build the RoStock Max and while I'm not finished with the inventory I'm already at $955.00.
So the short answer is that it's chaeaper to buy the kit from SeeMeCNC.
