Hot end not reaching desired temp

Hey anyone know why my Hot End is stopping at just under 232C most of the time?
Using all Stock Rostock Max parts.

It's been doing it a while no matter what I set the high temp as.
I did a PID tuning again but still the same.

I have the temp set to 234 but it goes barely reaches 232 / 231 but no higher.

The PID max value is 255 so it should go higher.
Any idea's?

thanks folks!

Your PID_Max controls how much current is allowed to get to your resistors. You would be looking for a max temp setting. I have never seen one, but I have never looked either.

Ahh thanks for clearing that up!

I'm beginning to think it's software related as after canceling a few prints it happens, but after I restart the computer it works again until I cancel a few prints.
It's just a minor annoyance I'll see on the next update if it stops or not.

increase your P slightly, decrease your D or I slightly, the PID setting is probably just over damped.
