I'm making for hire...just to try it.

I was already contacted by someone who's doing a medical-related thing. I'm under non-disclosure - which is probably ok in this limited instance.
I quoted a rate of $45/hr - on makexyz.com - primarily since most of us are still futzing around with settings, learning, etc. I normally make between $75 and $125/hr coding mobile software (depending on platform - iOS is higher than Java for Android)
First question: Is this too low? I'm still learning so I thought I would factor that in.
Second question: MakeXYZ has you quote based on cm squared. Doesn't seem like it's reasonable if you're doing setup, don't know if the part is going to work based on software, etc.
Thoughts? They're needing 0.35 nozzle prints - fine stuff. I said I'm willing to discount the hourly if I don't get results - but I'm not sure there's enough understanding yet about that head size. I'm very willing to be wrong on all of this....
