Speeds for the Rostock Max

I'm finally satisfied with my quality of prints coming out and wanted to start cranking up my speeds as I'm currently running 50 mm/s on the perimeters and 50 on the infill. The SeeMe page states speeds up to 300 and I was looking at the Slic3r manual and it states that you can get up to 250, Which would be great as I would like to print more but it has become soooooooo time consuming. Any suggestions? Anything to be careful of?? Any other settings I should change ??? I thought I saw something about increasing the temp of the hotend when going faster.

You can certainly print infill faster than 50mm/s, but most people run their printers (delta or otherwise) in the 30mm/s-60mm/s perimeter range.
You'll start to see quality degrade as you increase speed.
As you increase speeds you'll also start to notice you don't get the drop in print time you expect, this is because Jerk and acceleration settings become dominant very quickly.

There will be a limit above which you simply cannot extrude plastic fast enough, you can increase temperatures slightly to improve this, but there is a limit to how much more you can get and the result is also a reduction in print quality.
PLA is easier to print very quickly than ABS, because at higher temperatures it's viscosity drops dramatically. Some hotends are better for printing fast than others.

Short version is print faster and see if it works and the quality is acceptable to you.
FWIW I've run parts with 120mm/s perimeters, but the parts were 190mmx190mmx70mm, and I needed 4 of them, so I was willing to live with the quality compromise.

Thanks for the input Polygon... I brought my perimeters up to 60 and the infill up to 90 and notice a big time difference
