1. are original H1 parts available? peek, nozzle .35
2. Does the currently listed hot end fit the original?
3. Has anyone progressed thru the various basic design stages, and nozzle designs
and what are the results?
4. Is this vacation week at seemecnc?

Dammit, the silence is deafening. seeme won't return my phone call, won't respond to my email, and I feel like I've been abandoned. There's a new kid on the block about an hour away, and he'll certainly get my future business based on this disappointing experience.

Hmm. That's strange. I've communicated several times with SeeMeCNC about parts for my H-1 in the past year. They've always responded promptly and courteously- even calling me back Friday evening after hours to make sure that my order was correct. I'd give them a week or so to respond. They're a small company and sometimes things happen, but I think they'll come through.

Anyway, they might have some old stock sitting on a shelf. Have you tried contacting them here: https://shop.seemecnc.com/contactus.sc

If old parts aren't available, the hotend listed on their website now says that it is compatible with the H-1 and it looks like an upgrade from the original: http://shop.seemecnc.com/175mm-Hot-End- ... 68470.html

I've also heard rumors of a all metal hotend in the works. You might want to wait until it is released before buying.

Gave up, ordered the new one, installed the "sorta new" version that belongs to another person's printer, and while I like the design a whole lot better, an initial dribble test using the hollow cube (4mm elements, 30mm outside edges) shows almost as much detritus but somewhat less in troublesome places. I'll do more testing of various retraction distances and speeds, which may further help. On the slic3r forum, it was recommended that (for Mach3) editing G0 to G1 for everything might help. Well, not so sure. I'lll post my results later /thanks

I've been fighting the dribble since the beginning. Let me know if you find a solution. The new version of Sic3r is supposed to fix the G0/G1 problem.
