Thanks Eaglezsoar! I can spend hours reading thorough everyone's builds. Tonight I will probably only have time to unbox and check inventory. I guess I'm going to have to clean my home office where I plan on building it..

WHHAAA? You're going to clean an area...to make a mess in it?

Don't let Foshon know he's cleaning, he'll have his Mom put a pot roast in it!

So finally got to start my build. My kids helped me peel off the masking and protective film off the wood parts. Everything looks straight so far. Getting the base done and crimped the 3 motor wires.
Can someone confirm the stepper motor pinout? The PDF guide says (from pin 1-4) Yellow - Blue - Red - Green
Just want to make sure because after reading through a few build threads it seems some had to go back and switch the wiring around?
Will try to start posting pics soon. Thanks

That is the correct coil pairing. As long as the coils are right you can invert the direction of travel in the firmware.

So I'm trying to install the power switch but noticed the threaded part of the switch is not long enough to go through the melamine? Anyone else have this problem?

I used a lighted led switch from radio shack for mine. it was like $4 and i had to open up the hole for the switch. The little switch it comes with just looked funny.
