Errors when connecting to the Forum

Post by Eaglezsoar »

Is anyone else experiencing problems connecting to the Forum? I receive a lot of errors while reading my email and clicking on the link embedded in the email
for the Forum. The error is basically that it cannot connect. It could just be problems on my side but I only see these errors when I click on the Forum's email.
This is the error I receive, The requested URL /forum/forum/viewtopic.php was not found on this server.
This is one of the links contained in the Forum email http://forum.seemecnc.com/forum/viewtop ... 30&e=15230

I think there is a problem with the Forum randomly sending out faulty links.

I had this yesterday. Thought I was banned or something! All I got was "ok" or something like that - both in Chrome and Safari.

Trying clearing your browser cache (in chrome, ctrl+f5 for hard refresh). I was getting a "pageok" message for a while until doing that.

I got it after, as well as in multiple browsers. It's a forum burp me thinks.

Click the link I posted and see if you get the error. This link was sent to me via the Forum's email.
I can just about guess that 100% will get the error if they click that link. My question is why the Forum is
sending links that don't work. If this is some sort of corruption it can only get worse.

Here is another link sent to me by the Forum:
"http://forum.seemecnc.com/forum/viewtop ... 58&e=15258"

I have discovered why it doesn't work but I do not know why it is doing it. Do you see
the word forum after the seemecnc.com/ That word does not belong there and if it is eliminated the link works fine.
It should be "http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php ... 58&e=15258" which works fine.

Can anyone determine why the Forum randomly inserts the word forum incorrectly in the links?
