Wipe for a Rostock Max?

Post by krak »

Has anyone figured out a good way to perform a wipe action with the Rostock Max? Coming from a Thing-o-matic it was pretty easy to add that If I wanted, but it does seem to be as straight forward here as the wipe action could at some point cause a crash on large builds.
I normally use a skirt and even a raft on most of my prints, but when the time comes to setup the dual, wiping might be needed.

You can pause the print, raise the Z axis, then resume. Any move that sends Z downward would be risky on a tall print.
having a 3d printer means never having to put duct tape on the remote.

In kissslicer if you enable the prime pillar it creates one for each extruder. Not perfect but could help.
