Mesh wire frame print issue.

Hey,
finally got the machine printing. Made the test cube and it did great. Then tried to do a "wire-frame". See attached images. Any suggestions to make it look better? I printed it a 225 and I think this was too low, using ABS. Also the bed was at 110. Even when I set the temp high, it reverts to a lower them when I start printing. Also I did it at .2 fill density and .2 layer height. Any suggestions?

A big favor (we need a sticky post for this):
Knowing what software you're using really helps.
You're starving the print. Needs more filament.
In Kiss, extruder width will increase/decrease the amount of filament you're pushing through.
In Slic3r, extruder multiplier.
You don't need 120C on the bed. 65 is probably good if you're using Elmer's glue stick.
Slow down your print speed just for grins...
Bump your temp up to 235 - 238...

hey,
using repetier/slic3r. I'm using hair spray on the bed. So what would be a good value for the extruder multiplier? Also I assume infill should be increased, and layer height decreased. Whats the easiest way to slow speed? Do I need to re-slice every time I adjust things such as multiplier, infill, layer height?

I follow a rule always I read from Joeseph Prusa. Works well always for me.
The 20% rule.
It goes like this. If you want a layer height of .2 then your extrusion width should be 20% more than this for clean prints. .2x1.2=0.24 for extrusion width. This holds true up until your nozzle size which I don't exceed.
For example if your nozzle size is .5 this means you are not to print thicker layers than about .4 with a extrusion width of .48.
It's not written in stone, but if I start from this point with only minor adjustments I get great results.
.2 height with .2 width is begging for starvation.
I think john has accurately diagnosed this.
I always like my extrusion multipler to be as close to 1.0 as possible with no greater variation than .1 up or down. The exception being rubber filament which gets a multipler of 1.65.

Nophead did a number of tests with extrusion width, and his rule of thumb is the width must be at lease 1.5x the layer height for the layers to bond effectively. I find that applies to larger layer heights, say 50% of the nozzle diameter and up, but at lower layer heights, you're better off just using Nozzle diameter plus or minus say 10% as the extrusion width.
If the extrusion width is too narrow you run into two issues, the first is the layers don't adhere, the second is that as the filament is stretched leaving the nozzle, it will snap giving very inconsistent results.

So honestly I'm a little confused...Is extrusion width and extrusion multiplier the same thing? So after adjusting the layer height to .1, what would be a good number to use for the multiplier? If the multiplier and width are not the same how do I adjust the width?
Also, I plan on trying random points for the Z to move up a layer. Would selecting it to do infill first help at all ? Would increasing fill density or fill pattern help?

No extrusion width and extrusion multiplier are different, the former dictates the width of the extrusion, the later is a multiplier applied to the steps/mm of the extruder.
In slic3r there is an extrusion width setting for various types of extrusion and they default to some large vaue based on the nozzle diameter.
Honestly you need to see if you can replicate the issue on something simpler, so it's easy to see what effect setting changes have.
