Repetier 0.90 serial disconnects?

I've switched to repetier 0.90 and it's awesome. The downside is the printer will stop responding to the host randomly. The serial log just shows that the communication stops (no errors, bad data, or resends requested) until the host starts forcing lines. The printer wont respond and the TxRx lights aren't lighting up.

I can manually control the printer through the LCD though, but it just says "Idle."

Restarting the Rambo fixes the issue.

This has been reported many times, and a resolution has not been found. You can try forcing ASCII mode and that seems to help.

Thanks, I haven't been able to find it this issue posted but am glad I'm not the only one. I'm assuming the issue is still there with ASCII mode? That's what I have been running. It's pretty rare, but last time it happened I had 13 mins left on a 10 hour print.
