Forum login cookie persistence?

I think this is the place to post this...
This is for John, as I think he has said he manages the forum software.
Is it possible for you to increase the persistence of the login cookie? That is, it seems to have a duration of about 48 hours. I find it annoying to have to continually log in on my own machines after I haven't accessed the site with them for a short couple of days. Maybe it's more annoying to me as I use a password manager and random passwords, so every time I need to log in I have to unlock the master, get my 2FA code...
First-world-problem, I know.
Many other forums I'm registered with allow the user to select the persistence duration, some include the option for permanent logins. I'm not sure what the backend software is , but moving it out to something like a week would be great if the user-selectable option is not available.
Thanks for the consideration
