The original Rostock Perk with Rambo 1.0
I have tried to upgrade to the new version form Semeecnc download page.
However, the movement of the axises are too short.
By models are to small then when printed.
when I move from Y95 to Y+95, the gotend only moves abt 70mm.
Does anybody have a hint regarding this problem?
Steps per mm are set for 53.33.

They need to be set to 53.33 in both the firmware and in the EEPROM screen. This is normally accomplished by changing the uStep setting to 8 and disabling EEPROM when upgrading, then reenabling EEPROM after verifying correct movement.

Thanks for the hint, however it did not help. My X Y and Z distances are correct in vertical movement, but not in the horisontal way.
After upgrading I forund that the Radius had to be adjusted from the 198.25 to 162mm to get the head even along the hotplate.
And this courses the horisontal movement to be too short.
So still not solved.

Hi Poul,
You might check that the correct number of pulley teeth are set in the firmware. The firmware comes set for the currently offered 20 tooth pulleys, and yours are likely 15 tooth since I gather you have an early kit by the RAMBo 1.0.
Hope that helps.

Well, that might be your problem... With 20 tooth pulleys your steps/mm should be 40. If your board is still functional you should give that a try. Good luck!

With the default x16 micro-stepping, it should be 80 steps/mm. 40 would be for x8.
Just be aware there are additional factors that can influence this number.

Yep, but he has a RAMBo 1.0, which did x8; x16 came with 1.1.

I knew I shouldn't have said anything since I'm not a RAMBo user

Thanks for the clarification.

Which board are you using edward?
Only asking since I have run through pretty much all of the available ones in my experimentations.
