Hello Everyone..
i am new to all this and not all too smart on this stuff so i will do my best to understand you all and explain my situation as best as i can.
Last night i was programming my rostock max for the first time.
I was following the assembly guide that i downloaded the one where he has the orange rostock max.
well anyways as i was programming it on repetier the hot end extruder temp droped to negative.
it was on for a while and good. on the program right now it says extruder0: working head bed:working
but in the manual controls i have heat extruder button on and and the temp is now in the negatives
i touch the extruder and i feel some heat. its not very hot but heat is there
1 thing i did from manual was type in M303 S200 in manual control for the extruder test to write down the kp ki and kd
it comes on goes up to 200 stays there after test then turns off and still says extruder:0 working but when i turn on the extruder using the button it stays in -20 c
i am a bit confused did i do somthing wrong? wrong wiring? bad plug ins? anyone offer suggestions?
thank you all your your time
Raul

Re: Extruder heating problems
That means your thermistor is either bad or the wiring/connection is bad somewhere.
