Attached are a few pics of some slicing I've done to show what problem I'm having. I downloaded the rostock material spool from thingiverse, and it gives these results when I slice it. Any idea what is happening? I believe my settings are pretty normal, I tried playing with the infill etc etc to no avail.
Also sometimes when I print things such as house floor plans the machine really has a hard time with the short vertical wall segments between windows etc, is there a way to tell the slicer to print say layers 25-43 vertically for each of those "wall " segments then move on? I'm not sure if I'm being clear, but for another example, say I'm trying to print something with columns, the machine has issues say printing each thin column by doing layer 5 for each column then layer 6 etc, it seems it would work better if it printed a larger number of layers for each column, then move to next column. Any suggestions?

I don't see the problem in the pictures. Maybe I'm missing something. I see moire patterns but nothing especially wrong with the pictures. The pink object is the .stl which is effectively just the skin of the digital model you want to print. The blue object is actual printer extrusions the printer will try to print based on the g-code from a sliced model.

There are various ways that can fix wall issues in your settings. It is likely that solutions then require additional changes to account for effects they cause though. I would suggest a thread in troubleshooting and giving picture examples to what your trying to fix and then post results to help correct the problem. We'll also need to know filament type if you go that route.
