Rostock Max vs Orion?

Hi guys, I really like the design of the Orion, but I decided to order the Rostock Max instead just because I would rather build it myself. However, I haven't been able to find as much info about the Orion and I was curious to see the differences between the two. They seem, for the most part, to be using the same parts but according to the small info I have seen, the Rostock has more precision and can go faster and I don't know why. I am extremely new to the delta design, the one I ordered should get here soon, so as of now I have no hands on experience with them.
Does anyone know of any sources, or have further details about the differences between the two?
Thanks

I believe the Orion also has a smaller printable area.
Orion does comes fully assembled and pre-calibrated however, which is nothing to be under valued.

I've talked to Oly and Cheapskate about this before and they're essentially the same machine in two different sizes. The stepper motors and hot-end and Rambo controller are all the same. The main difference besides size is just that it's a more recent design. The Orion has some tweaks and mods in the lasercut wooden parts that helps the fit and assembly.
Also the Onyx bed was redesigned for more even heat, and the bearing carriages use a new design.
Yes there are some differences, but functionally, they're mostly the same.

Thank you guys, for the information.
Also the Onyx bed was redesigned for more even heat, and the bearing carriages use a new design.
Just for clarification, does this mean the new kit I ordered does not come with the new onyx heat bed?

There's a "mini-onyx" on the Orion. It is the gen2 design, and the Orion has always been that way. For the full size Rostock, I don't think that a gen2 prototype exists yet. I know some people who were working on one of their own design, but I don't believe that SeeMeCNC has one to offer.
At whatever time you place an order for the Rostock, you will definitely get the most current set of parts. When I bought mine, I asked for the optional LCD kit and tried to pay John for it, and he politely informed me that it now came standard

Ah, makes sense... perhaps I'll just order the new one when they develop it later.
On another note, yesterday I received my rostock max kit. Pulled open all the packaging (I hate packing peanuts by the way) and started to get into build mode. I got to page 19 in the instructions when I noticed I am missing some parts, some further exploration through the instructions revealed that I seem to be missing an entire bag of parts
Anyway, just thought I'd rant my frustrations since I have nothing better to do! I've already sent an email to support, I'm sure someone will help me on this... but man, does it suck! I want to build!
I am pretty impressed with the quality of the parts (that were there) though, so I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.
