where can i find a list of codes that might tell me how to manually control this feed stepper. im sick to death of this thing not working! i paid my money, i assembled this MF, and it's calibrated, what else do i have to do to get it to spit out a print? the only thing i "haven't" done is sweet-talk it, and don't nobody tell me that's why it isn't working!

Are you using Repetier host? There is a tab called 'Manual Control' Click that, scroll down a bit and you will see some buttons to control the heating and feeding of the extruder manually.

Also, sweet talking to machines cant hurt, you should try that first next time!

As with all other troubleshooting, the first thing to do is to tray and figure out why.
The easiest way to do that with filament feed issues is to remove the Bowden tube from the Hotend, bring it up to temperature and feed filament by hand, there should be some resistance, but you should be able to feed by hand.
If you can't it's likely the Hotend is blocked, if you can you want to verify that you can push the filament through the Bowden tube and finally you want to look at the extruder and see how much force is needed to stall it.

You should also verify that you are actually getting the expected temperature at the Hotend with a thermocouple.

You don't state what plastic you are using! PLA will jam a Hotend if there is no fan on the thermal barrier.

I am currently trying to extrude abs and it will hold at 240, and yes repetier host is what I am using for the time being, till I can print something and make the distinction if I will continue to use repetier host. I can hand feed the hot end, and a blockage isn't the problem as much as the motor doesn't do much of anything when it seems like it should be turning and oozing. no grinding of 'stuck' filament against the spur feed gear. I see the feed rate and its set at the 100 as the manual described, but how do I give it a command it to feed plastic say before a print, to "purge" I guess i'll call it. seems there has to be some gcode command that I can run the feed motor?
