Retraction is your friend?

Post by cope413 »

A word to the wise...

When you print a spiral vase and disable retraction, make sure you enable it when you slice something new...

The interesting thing is that it seems like I'd be able to bridge that distance (6.5") had I wanted to...

Thanks, I was really trying to capture the post-modernistic essence of my filament tower.

Without browbeating, I tried to use varying thicknesses of nylon to allow different amounts of light through the suspended strands represents the wealth inequality that exists in the world.

These guys probably slaved over their design http://www.adafruit.com/blog/2013/05/13 ... nt-page-1/
All you had to do was forget "retraction" :D

Strings with trimmer line are an evil unlike any other filament.

So, what retraction settings do you use anyway? Since you brought it up...
