Is it possible to update Repeteir Host to the new 3r 1.0.0 or do you have to wait for Repeteir to do it ?

You can install the new version of Slic3r and change the Slic3r setup within Repetier Host to point to the new install.
See this link: http://www.repetier.com/documentation/r ... t/slicing/

What's "Slicer 4.1.3"?
Slic3r is at version 1.0.0 RC 1.

Slic3r is at version 1.0.0 RC 1.
You are correct. The new version looks cool, I'll have to install it.
I don't know where jmick came up with that version number, none of the slicers have a version number of 4.1.3
He also posted the same question to three different sub-forums, not sure what is going on.

There is a product for medical imaging called Slicer and it's had a newly released 4.3.1 version, so I am guessing he's got the version number wrong and looking at the wrong product.

I don't want to brake your dreams but there are a lot of problems with the new slicer(1.1.0 RC1).
With mac Users they must change the security to make the software works.
For all the versions, the supports are not correctly working, with some configurations the software keep calculate without ending when you use supports.
Some users have no problems with it but a lot have big problems(seen on many forums and at least on the slic3r forum).
I made a email to the author but I think is overbooked with all the problems that have been reported by users.

Let's wait and see
