"Blobbing"?

Post by int2str »

Got new ABS today and tried it out immediately after my last failure.
The test print came out really nice. The print feels good in hand and looks great.

That said, there is some random "blobbing" happening?
Not sure this is blobbing, but I'm referring to the random "blobs" of material.

How do I improve this print?

Oh, also just noticed in the full size image that the top layers don't seem to be fully "connected". How do I fix that?

Settings:
Nozzle: 0.5
Layer height: 0.2
Bed temp: 90/100 (first/rest)
Extruder: 225/230 (first/rest)
Speed: Perimeters around 30mm/s; infill 50mm/s

Thanks!

looks good to me. you can calibrate your extruder to give it a better fill. delta arm blues can also cause issues with fill. and using slic3r it fills differently compared to kisslicer

Is the procedure written down anywhere?
Can you point me to a HOWTO or something?
