Hello,

Another small question here. I'm getting all of the parts that are suggested in the manual prior to beginning the build and it mentions the need for:

Uninsulated crimp on connectors, sized for 22-18ga wire. Radio Shack P/N 640-3036 is an excellent choice.

I could only find Insulated Crimp-On connectors and am wondering whether I can use them as-is, or whether I need to cut the insulation off them? The only reason that I could think of to strip the insulation is that the wires become too large to fish through holes, but since I'm very new to the process of building something like this I don't want to really assume anything that could bite me later.

The Uninsulated crimp on connectors are used on the resistors where they are twisted together. This area becomes quite hot and that is why they should be uninsulated.
The plastic insulation will melt off anyway. Just get the insulated ones and cut off all the insulation and use them. These must be crimped on you cannot solder these because
of the heat again, solder would melt off. Hope this helps and Happy Printing!

After taking my hot-end apart a few times and struggling with removing the crimp connectors, I used some bicycle cable clamps last time. They're all metal, removable, and have worked well so far.
