Is it just me or did someone change the look and feel of the forum?

I noticed it to, all of sudden it just changed!
I bet Oly is messing with it.

I like it!!! Easier on the eyes when using my iPhone.

Needs more contrast between the background and the unread thread icons. Course I'm staring at a 23" monitor, so maybe it's just too damn bright in general.

I was online when the change occurred and the difference in brightness was huge. I personally liked the old one better but that is the usual response to change, we resist it at first
then adapt. The stark white background is a bit hard to get used to though.

I'm pretty sure this is just the default PHP BB theme, not sure why they turned off the custom theme, I did like it better, but this is workable.

Definitely like the dark theme better...way too bright with a 27" display

I'm guessing the change was made so that the forum matches the look and feel of the SeeMe site...

There were aspects of the old style that I liked better (e.g. a lot easier to see which topics had unread messages). Personally, I'd like the flexibility (which phpBB *does* provide) to choose a style according to my preferences. The option used to be on the User Control Panel, but there was only one style available. It would be nice (is someone from SeeMeCNC listening? ) to have that option added back with this style and the previous one at least.

I was poking around the configs last night, and fat fingered something and blew up the theme, lol. So, i switched to the default for a while I've fixed my opps and now you have the option in the user control panel to pick between the old and new themes

Sorry guys, took longer than I thought to fix.

While we're on it, what do you think about a shoutbox style chat on the forum?

I like the idea of the shoutbox style chat.

Shoutbox would be great as long as we have viewable archives.

And yes, a shoutbox would be a nice/cool addition.

does the option exist to enable a mobile site? its kind of hard to use this site on my phone.

I'm working to add some modifications to the forum including an embedded irc chat. I need johnoly99 to get back to me and I'll be able to add them.
