PMs stuck in outbox?

Anyone else having PMs get stuck in an outbox? Right now I have 4 pending to be sent, one is from a few days ago. Is it just me?

They stay in the outbox until the recipient actually reads it.
Are you sure they read the message?

Ah - my bad, I assumed it acted like an email outbox to let you know what was being sent out, or was in the process of being sent. Didn't know they stayed there until read. Handy!
