So I G28 and all axis went north besides the Z axis. Before my road trip, all axis worked. Now all head up beside the Z axis. The M119 command show the Z axis with an H in the command line........if it worked before on G28...what is the problem now?? Not able to get this roxmax going yet...so frustrating. Probably wiring since sine was the first wire sliced.....just confused why it wouldn't work now. This is an indigo machine....FYI...

Sounds like your end-stop wiring for the Z-axis is broken. The switches are configured as NC (normally closed) and when they're pressed, it opens the circuit. If your z-axis end-stop wire is broken somewhere, that will open the circuit so the printer thinks the Z-axis is pushing against the end-stop, so it won't move it up at all.

Jake, if it worked fine before you took it for a ride and now does not there is a 99% certainty that a wire is disconnected, loose or shorted.
Carefully inspect all of the wiring starting with the end stops. If you find nothing wrong with that wiring, move on to the rest of the wiring.
You may get frustrated and declare that it is not a wiring problem but think about it. If it worked before being bounced around on the trip
it is a virtual certainty that a wire is involved so don't give up until you find it.

Such a novice mistake. The Z ends top wires, or at least one, had been severed due to bump in the road.....literally. I'm currently tightening/inspecting all my screws, wires, measurements, etc. I did not assemble this machine....my first was with Barnett. I really should have inspected eavrything first but was just too excited to start printing. I may end up partially re-building this machine. I enjoyed the last build process...plus I want to get to know this machine better and get rid of the birds nest of wires I see. Like most.....I like a neat machine. Plus I prefer the Rambo on the outside of the machine; better cooling, better visuals of what is going on. Cheers to all for your help.....BTW this is a indigo machine, almost same that Barnett and I built....thanks again. I hope my future questions aren't as obvious but I know this forum will be there regardless......Jake

Stuff happens, I'm glad you found it and got it to work again.
