Interesting material

Post by neurascenic »

Though not intended for Printing. It is quite expensive compared to typical filament, it looks to have some phenomenal properties.

Reusable for one.

First would to be to extrude it into filament.

I just ordered some for other reasons, but as soon as I get/build an extruder I will try it.

thixotropic materials are very cool :) It would be an intriguing experiment to see if it will print. Keep us up to date if you try it. I have a filament extruder, maybe I'll give it a go?

yea, I dig that you can fuse it to itself... means you can get even more complicated results without printing illegal overhangs/supports.

Machinable to boot. But yea, it would be a total experiment!

If you beat me to it (it will be a bit before I get an extruder) Do post!

Cheers!
