I got my fan mounted and wanted to see if I could successfully run a longer print in PLA
Here it is just after it finished
And after removing some of the strings between the legs
I'm pretty happy with the print, notice the detail in the eyes.
This was using 0.25mm layer thickness first layer @190C subsequent layers @185C
I need to figure out if there is a way to prevent some of the stringing on moves.

If you are using slic3r, then you can retract the extruder a bit on moves like this. I set my retraction pretty light at like .1 to .05. With a setting like this, I just get very fine hairs that can just wipe off. Looks great though.
Oh, I do retract the Z a bit, but the retraction is for the extruder mainly.
