Hot End Not Working

Post by aerouta »

My hotend is no longer working. I have checked the voltage at the “Heat 0” terminal on the Rambo and I get zero. I checked all the terminals at main power port and they show 12v as expected. Repetier shows max power being sent to the hotend.
I changed the line in the config file from

Code: Select all

#define EXT0_HEATER_PIN HEATER_0_PIN
To

Code: Select all

#define EXT0_HEATER_PIN HEATER_1_PIN
And still got zero on HEAT 1 terminal.

also checked the F3 fuse.. should there be 12v across the F3 fuse?

Any suggestions??

You did not say if you checked the small fuses.
Turn the power off and pull the small fuses.
Check them for continuity. They should read 0 ohms.

It was F3 after all. I got heat!

Another question, should both LED2 and LED4 light up while heating a single extruder? I have never paid attention to this before.

I think SeemeCNC set the second one to turn on a fan.
