hello,
when i begin a print, in PLA, bed and hotend heated up (hotend "leaking" filament already), it takes about 10-20 seconds after the head started the printing movements before the EZtruder actually starts extruding.
i use skirts of 3-4 loops now to ensure filament coming out of the nozzle at the beginning of the print and i try to force the filament through the extruder pressing the big red lever down like as if i'm feeding a new spool of filament through, that works, but after releasing the pressure it still takes the extruder some time to press the filament through on its own.
is it a flaw in the extruder? the motor or the board?
thanks in advance,
Demy de Waard

Re: problems with EZtruder at beginning of prints
I run about 30mm of filament using the manual feed button on the Repetier Host software to prime the nozzle.
I realise this doesn't work if you're printing off the SD Card. It also has problems if you extrude, then start the print job but the hot end or bed aren't at the right temperature.
