I messed up the calibration...

Post by makerguy564 »

Hello. When the nozzle of my machine travels in the rear direction towards the back rail, the nozzle drags to close to the build plate. The nozzle really gets jammed and the EZStuder skips. I tried re-setting the Z height and then tried running the oriontowercal file. I have the adjustment screw on the back rail turned in all the way. The nozzle still drags too close to the build plate.

I started fiddling around with the other adjustment screws (big mistake!) Now, when the nozzle travels towards the other towers (right and left towers) the nozzle drags on the build plate.

What shall I do to re-calibrate the machine?

What part of Chicago are you folks going to be in tomorrow? I am in the Chicago burbs! Thanks!

You will need to do a complete calibration as done for the Rostock Max. The procedure is part of the Rostock Max assembly
manual as listed here: http://www.geneb.org/rostock-max/Rostoc ... -Guide.pdf
Complete the calibration procedure in this guide and you should be good to go again.
