Inside your stepper motor...so you don't have to...

Mine was definitely not working like the rest but I didn't see any visual indications otherwise. The stepper is just a motor...no other components from what I see - at least in this one...
Be sure to keep that magnetized shaft away from other stuff that's plugged in...

So, after tearing it apart, did you get it to work?

Interesting... I've got a stepper with a "tight" spot in it's rotation. I guess that, that particular motor has a high spot on the rotor or a 'rib' inside of the windings that's a little proud.
It's probably fine (it works without shorting or anything), but I think I'll call Ultimachine and just have it replaced.

Isn't it amazing what they think of printing? And the things work! I love to see high tech 3d printed projects instead of toys, figurines etc.
