Rostock MAX PTC Fittings Broken

Hey guys,
I brought this up in IRC but I just wanted to post about sourcing replacement PTC connectors. I've e-mailed SeeMeCNC for replacements but it looks like they're sold out in the web-store.
Searching through the forums, I think I've found the correct size and threading for the connectors and found something which should work:

Will this be a suitable replacement for the stock PTC connectors? I kind of wish that the original PTC connectors lasted more than the first weekend of real printing but oh wells!
Edit: spelling

I like the ones SeeMeCNC has the blue release is easier to push.
Maybe they will add them to their store also. Would not hurt to keep a couple on hand.

The blue ones are really problematic. They're the ones that like to break and drop little bits of metal into your hot end.

The new grey capped ones hold better and do NOT want to let go. You're better off unthreading the fitting than trying to make it let go.

yea the blue ones, its not a matter of "if" they fail, but when... and its usually in a 10hr+ print while your sleeping. you will come downstairs and have a spaghetti mess. Save yourself the headache and chuck those out!

We use SMC and Festo fittings at work. They are used primarily for connecting air lines to air cylinders. They hold 0.6MPa (87psi) cycling 100,000+ times a day. I've never seen one fail. So after my 5:00am spaghetti floor pile I sourced some on Amazon.
SMC KQ2H04-M5A Brass Push-to-Connect Tube Fitting, Adapter, 4 mm Tube OD x M5x0.8 Male

$1.49 for two on Prime at the time I bought them.
I bought two packs just in case. (types with fingers crossed) They haven't failed yet.

Yeah, I also ordered some of the Festo connectors from (
http://www.kiowa.co.uk/products/QSM-M5- ... 16767/1008) as they were recommended elsewhere in the forums. I'm hoping that the replacement connectors last long enough for these new PTC fittings to arrive from the UK.
I wish I'd have checked amazon as well but oh well, shame on me for failing to google.
Fortunately the brass bits didn't fall out until AFTER I disassembled the bowden tube and was playing around with the fitting at my desk
