I was so excited... I was planning on taking tomorrow off of work because I'm busy going to the beach this weekend!
I hope it still makes it tomorrow.
Until then...

Does Portland really get that warm this time of year? Sounds like I would REALLY like the west coast over this cold Ohio.
I feel bad that your package got delayed, I can remember the anticipation when mine was coming.

This winter was really weird, for a couple days it was the coldest I have seen here (high teens), while being mild other days. During the winter it normally rains probably 25 days out of the month.
The summers rarely get into the 90s and I have only seen triple digits a couple times.
Right now, it's been between 50-60 and occasionally raining the last couple weeks.
As for the package, life goes on.

I'm guessing you're referring to "The Beach". The Oregon coast beaches aren't a place where many people swim

There are great white sharks there and the water temperature rarely gets above the 50s. But the Oregon coast is a great place to relax

Usually we only go in the water after a dare, even on the hottest summer day the water is never warm.

We're going to Seaside on Saturday then I'm staying the night in Pacific City to play on the dune there Sunday.

It's my favorite beach... that I have been to at least.
Here's a view looking West at the base of the dune with a view of Chief Kiawanda Rock.

My friends and I bought 3 Power Wheels trucks from Goodwill for $5 a piece and took the motors out. After hauling them to the top they didn't work as well as we thought. I have a few videos of my friend eating it while riding a Power Wheels buggy. I was too fat and sunk in the sand. D:
