Arduino won't load existing firmware

Post by Shizuma »

I'm going thru the recalibration of my Rostock MAX because it seems to be off now, before when I started Arduino it would open up a sketch of today's date and it would open up another window with the firmware on the RAMBo, now it won't do that, it simply opens that sketch window and nothing now and I have no clue how to get it to load the firmware currently on the RAMBo.

Arduino can not open the firmware on the RAMBo - it can ONLY open Arduino source code. You need to find the Repetier firmware folder on your disk and then open the Repetier.ino file inside it - this is the file the Arduino IDE needs to load the source code.

Ok, didn't know that, do you know why it was loading the Repetier.ino file automatically before then? I assumed it was loading it directly from the RAMBo when it was doing that, but I guess not.
