Upgrade to firmware 0.91 time out error

Hello,

When I try to print 4-6 copies of the parts at the same time, the printer very often stops printing in the middle of the print (all prints via SD card). I red somewhere that upgrading to firmware 0.91 should solve it. I use OSX 10.6.8 and Repetier Host 0.56 - I can via Repetier Host successfully connect to the printer. Within Arduino IDE I selected "Arduino Mega 2560 or Mega ADK" as board and "/dev/tty.usbmodem1d11" as serial board (= the same one I use with Repetier Host). When I try to upload the "eprom_clear" I only get some time out errors. I used the software to update firmware of other 3d printers. The "programmer" is set to "AVR ISP" - Is this the right one for the ORION printer? If yes any suggestions why the upload is not working?

These are the errors showing up:
Binäre Sketchgröße: 1.348 Bytes (von einem Maximum von 258.048 Bytes)
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout

avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_getsync(): timeout communicating with programmer

Make sure your board is powered buy the PSU and not just USB, the newer version needs to have 12V power to reupload the firmware

Hello,

I did not remove the board - it is installed in the printer and the printer is switched on. As I wrote I can successfully connect to the printer via repetier host. But when I try to update the firmware I get always these time out errors....

Is the "AVR ISP" the correct programmer?
Is it possible that the eeprom has a kind of write protection enabled?
