How to get Z=0 using the naked eye

You don't. Especially not on a 6 hour print as you're rushing out the door heading to work.
I wanted to get the thing started before I left in the morning and just used my eye for Z0. The part actually stuck for a while as you can see it in the picture... but the bottom of the print showed I had my nozzle WAY too high. It was almost a fully round extrusion on the bottom.
