Hey: your English is better than my Russian (even after two years in high school... couldn't handle the noun conjugations...)

Borosilicate glass is special because it doesn't change size (much) with temperature. So, when the print bed heats up the glass won't warp, and it isn't likely to shatter.

If what you could buy locally is indeed 4mm thick borosilicate glass, assuming it's the right shape (it could even be square), then I think it's the right thing, and might even be better than the original (thicker). The price seems high, but if it's being made custom for you then that would explain it.

(I'm no professional, so you might want to wait to hear from one of the old-timers before you go ahead and spend your money.)

Good luck,
Dan

Before you order make sure of the coefficient of expansion of the glass they want to sell you.
Lots of people and companies sell boro glass and you never know what your getting.
For a good place to start look up Borofloat, manufactured by Schott glass.
Depending on the price you could look at either quartz or fused silica but my guess is the price would be way too high.
Too bad your so far away, I could help with just about anything you need. We specialize in flat glass and fused silica.
Shipping costs would be more than the glass is worth.
Any other help don't hesitate to ask.
Good luck,
Pete
