x-axis not moving

Last night finally had everthing working. I tried my first print and I noticed that the extruder wasn't getting hot enough. The PLA was very stringy and not sticking well. Opened the manual and notice that I was suppose to change out the resistor R5 on the Velleman board, so I changed the resistor to a 15k resistor and now my X-axis is not moving. Why?

I checked the Opto Isolator Jumpers, power connections, switch the X-Axis cable connector with the Y-Axis cable connector and the X works in the Y so it's not the motors but the Y does not work in the X. So that leads me to believe that the X receptacle is not working.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Ressie

Double check your Mach pins and configuration. I've experienced strange things with Mach not remembering changes in configuration unless I explicitly do a save settings. Had this happen for several years on multiple Mach control machines.
