Automated temperature calibration “PID Auto tune”

Hi

As I wrote befor my Max is running since yesterday night, unfortunately not the LCD Display, but thats for a different ticket ;)
Here I`m asking for the "automated temperature calibration" “PID Auto tune” of the Extruder Hot end.
Well the hot end works after a little bit smoke (waaahhh that stinks :? ) and an exploding air blister inside of the HT Copper silicone ( ). Now it is running and the temperature can be hold very smooth over repetier, but when I activate “M303 S200”
“PID Auto tune” the temperature runs high to 220 °C then I`ve got the information "test failed temperature to high"

Hmmm whats wrong ?

After several tests with the “PID Auto tune” its all the same, but when I just activate the hot end simple via repetier, it runs smooth around 200°C with -+0,5°C I think thats Okay.

Okay now a test again, and now the message does not pop up, so far so good.
Then I wrote the new values from Kp, Ki and Kd into the EERPOM Settings Which are Kp : 12.6733 Ki : 0.6133 Kd 65.8533
I did the test again, and the temperature went up to 220°C and falls down and down and down, nothing more happend, the Rambo didnt heat again ??????? Why not, man thats annoying :x

It sounds like something odd is happening, but as a side note, make sure that your HotEnd starts from room temperature when you do the autotune.

Hi . Yes I always start it from room temperature.
The mad thing is, that if I put the default values from the instruction in the EEPROM it works fine, it makes the test without any problems, but what should I say the values from the test are really similar to the one in the instruction. so I guess there can not be anything wrong ?!

Okay issue closed, its working fine. The temperature is running perfectely flat on the whole time.

The solution is simple.

Dont do that test again and it works fine for you!
