Just ordered a 'Max v2 mostly because of the active support I saw here in the forum. Looking forward to completing the standard build but the ultimate goal is a multi-extruder setup that can do both ABS and flexible material. I am sure I will have lots of questions for all you experts out there so thanks in advance for your help :)

Welcome aboard EyeBee. Now's a good time to download the assembly guide and get ready!

Cheers,
Michael

Thank you Michael. Actually, I had downloaded and read through the guide prior to ordering. Right now I am trying to figure out if I want to go with a threaded thermistor, heating cartridge and 24v power supply right off the bat or worry about making any mods at all until after the standard version is complete and working. Its just that some of the mods seem much easier to make as part of initial construction. Any thoughts?

I agree that some of the mods are easier at initial construction. It really comes down to how "hands on" someone is. If putting a kit like this together is something you would be very comfortable with, then go for it. A lot of people struggle with some of the construction areas - mechanics, electronics, etc. If that's the case, best to go by the book as you'll get lots of support/help here if needed.
