Been playing with cura. I like the results so far. This is a 1 layer thick hollow print in PLA. I have the spiral outer layer function turned on. It's also my first print since installing a new 40 watt cartridge heater and I love it. I am worried about a run away hot end situation due to its power but I'm working on limiting it. The mask would make a very nice decorative lamp as it's very thin.

That looks awesome! Turned out really well for being hollow. What layer height did you use?

Thank you very much,
I was playing with the settings trying to see how cura responded. It's printed with a .1 layer height, 80% extruder multiplier, 30mm/s speed and no fill or support at all. The pictures above are of the mask still printing. It took 5.5 hours to print. It turned out really well for being completely hollow and very thin. There are some horizontal surfaces, like the top of the ears and where the horns meet the head, that show some gaps where the printer had to bridge. Overall I am very happy. I'll post better Picts when I get home.
