I printed a couple sets of 4 of these clips for some probe plates I designed at work.
The first ones I made out of sheet aluminum didn't last very long.
These ones have been going strong for more than a month now.

Sweet! I used to work on ECT double sided bed 'o' nails testers. I hated troubleshooting the double density testers though.

speaking of prints for a workplace. Here's a set of pliers I printed out to handle certain parts at work. It didn't work out, but thats ok.

The number one reason I bought the printer is because you can spend hours designing something, more hours making usable blueprints and then even more time spent machining the part only to chuck it right into the trash because you forgot to account for something or the design didnt pan out. This way I can click a button , have the printer do all the work, and atleast see if what I got is going to be worth spending more time on.

Chris,
Surprisingly not the probe plate is for test drift tubes prior to gluing them together.
JT,
I actually used to work at ECT quite a while back designing those bed 'o' nails test fixtures. I started out in the testing/repair department troubleshooting the wire wrapped units, talk about a rats nest of wires.
Kiroyo,
Nice pliers, I will have to try something like that for our high voltage connections to the tubes which we run at about 3KV. It would sure beat getting zapped all the time.

I have been to their facility in Rancho, Went there to test the double density testers.
I worked on the machines for about 5yrs till the company I worked for decided to move their facility to Malaysia.
I have had to load fixtures too, lots of fun haha
