Fan Repair [UPDATE: REPAIRED and WORKING]

I am currently trying to repair the 25x25x10 mm fan for the Rostock Max. I broke mine trying to get it to fit into the peek fan holder. Turns out the 25mm fan is slightly bigger than 25mm. More like 25.3 or more. I measured this with a caliper.
So I am designing a new "shell" for the fan. Here is a partial test print: Edit:
Probably an expensive fan now, but it is now printed, filed, tweaked, the mount modified to allow full radius of fan to flow through, and tested: This was kind of fun to do. It also is neat that I can repair an item this small. I ended up leaving the motor attached to its original plate and super glued it to the new housing right onto the hex hub. I had to resolder the wire connections as they broke because of all the handling. Then I cut a thin strip of Kapton tape to support the wires and keep them from tugging on the solder joints. The tape kind of makes it look cooler anyway.
If anyone wants to play with this here is the STL:
