Extruded wires question...

During my build, I've got the wires in the extrusions, and have them set. Extruder wires (y axis 22 gauge) extend about 6 inches out of each end on the aluminum extrusion. Is it too short? Should I replace it with longer stuff?

The 22ga wires go to the EZstruder, don't they? In that case you will be splicing them to the wire that comes off the extruder stepper, which is pretty long. You should be able to reach the controller board with the added length of the extruder wiring added to the upper ends of the wires.

Crap- just discovered the issue.

I used 18" of 22 awg for the heated bed, that's why the extruder wires are long and hotend wire short. Time to buy some new wire and pull longer ones....
