I was trying to get to the store today for some cheap window tint to give that a try as a build surface. Store closed before I could get there.

So I am sitting here and thinking if I have any window tint hiding anywhere here and I come across 2 other possible build surface coatings.

Monokote from the RC world, the stuff for coating wing and such. And peal and stick adhesive backed Monokote.

I will post my findings in these regards in just a bit here.

Preparing to test.

This is something that I am interested in. When everyone went with PEI I spent a good amount of time looking into tinting. I got busy and dropped it. If it doesn't warp with higher temps it might be a good candidate.
