Hello from San Francisco

Post by jeffhuber »

Hello all!

I just ordered my Rostock MAX v2 and I'm really excited to get printing!

I created a google spreadsheet of all the additional tools I will need so I can get building right away. Hopefully this is useful to the community! I only added links to certain well-rated products on Amazon - but I get no commission from any of that. Pick your preferred source.

Is anyone else here from the bay area or San Francisco?

Hello to you and welcome to the Forum!
Thanks for purchasing the Rostock Max V2 and if you haven't already be sure to download
the latest assembly manual.
We have many users from your area, hopefully they will contact you via this forum and start up a discussion.
We have a varied group of people on this forum and many experts in various fields. If you need help during
your build just leave us a message and we will help you the best we can. Some photos of your build would be
appreciated. I know the feeling of anticipation you must be feeling but now would be a good time to review the
assembly manual.
Days of happy printing are coming soon.

I am here in the Bay Area as well (San Mateo County). But I am still in the research phase so I don't have one at the moment. Wishing you a smooth and trouble-free build.

Regards, Peter

Thanks Peter! I read through the guide tonight and it is certainly daunting. Will be fun to learn though! I'm excited to actually understand how the cuts work and not just be happy with a black box (call-out totally intended -- cough cough)
